Join New York Restoration Project (NYRP) for a three-part hybrid seminar series exploring key environmental issues impacting Sherman Creek and the Harlem River estuary. Sessions are open to community members, volunteers, partners, and students. You may register for one or multiple sessions using this form.
All sessions take place 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and are offered in person at the Sherman Creek Center and online.
January 31 – Marine Pollution and Estuarine Health - Dr. Judith Weis, with moderated discussion by Olivia O’Donnell
February 7 – Marine Invertebrate Biodiversity and Monitoring - Dr. Chester Zarnoch
February 14 – Wetland Function and Nutrient Cycling - Dr. Mary Alldred *this session will include a Sherman Creek Tour, available only for who attend in person.
