2026 Pitch Perfect Agent/Editor Application

2026 sees the return of Pitch Perfect, which pairs editors and agents with aspiring authors for feedback on their submission.

Editors/agents will receive no more than 4 matches and will be paid an honorarium. We will do our best to match editors/agents with manuscripts within their genre expertise.

Each submission will include a synopsis, a query letter, and the first 20 pages of the manuscript. Review and feedback should focus on the manuscript, though feedback on the query letter and synopsis is appreciated as well.

Editors/agents will be responsible for setting up 20-minute meeting with each of their matches. The meeting will take place remotely, either through a video call or a phone call, at mutually convenient times.

The number of editors and agents accepted to participate in Pitch Perfect is dependent on the amount of author applications. Editors and agents will be contacted at the beginning of March 2026 to advise on the status of their application.
