I, the undersigned, for myself and/or as the parent or legal guardian of the minor and/or student named below, hereby acknowledge that I have been made aware of and fully understand that there are certain elements of risk, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, which are beyond the control of the coordinators, sponsors, vendors, venue operators, and participants associated with the GMF Career Fair, hosted by GMF Construction, LLC d/b/a GMF Steel Group (“GMF”) in partnership with the Steel Erectors Association of America (“SEAA”), to be held on February 27, 2026, at Sun ‘n Fun Expo Campus, Skylight Hangar A (the “Event”).
EVEN IF GMF, SEAA, AND/OR THE EVENT VENUE USE REASONABLE CARE IN PROVIDING THIS ACTIVITY, THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THE UNDERSIGNED MINOR MAY BE INJURED BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY BECAUSE THERE ARE CERTAIN INHERENT DANGERS WHICH CANNOT BE AVOIDED OR ELIMINATED. BY SIGNING THIS FORM, YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR RIGHT AND/OR YOUR CHILD’S RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM GMF STEEL GROUP AND/OR SEAA IN A LAWSUIT FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY THAT RESULTS FROM THE RISKS THAT ARE A NATURAL PART OF THE ACTIVITY.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the GMF Career Fair, I (in the above dual capacity) do hereby assume all risk of injury arising out of said minor/student’s participation, and I specifically release, agree to hold harmless and indemnify, and agree not to sue the above-named sponsors, coordinators, vendors, venue operators, and participants, collectively and/or separately, from any and all liabilities, damages, causes of action, suits, actions, rights and demands of any nature whatsoever (including any negligent acts or omissions) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with said minor’s participation in this activity, that may accrue to me or to my heirs or personal representatives for any such injury.
I am also aware that strict adherence to safety standards and conduct will be required by said minor/student, and I agree that said minor/student will fully abide by such standards or accept dismissal for refusing to adhere to them. I hereby grant GMF the authority to obtain emergency medical treatment for the minor listed herein as necessary.
In connection with this event, GMF may utilize charter buses to facilitate transport to and from the facilities. I hereby grant and authorize the minor listed below permission to be transported on said charter buses and, further, acknowledge and waive any liability of GMF, its agents, managers, employees, or assigns from liability for claims or injuries arising from or related to the minor’s usage of charter buses.
I hereby authorize and grant GMF, including its employees and any third parties acting under GMF’s direction or control (hereinafter, collectively referred to as “GMF Steel Group”), the right to take, edit, alter, copy, and/or publish photographs of myself and/or the minor children listed below, including our names and likenesses, for use in GMF Steel Group’s print, online, and/or video-based marketing materials, as well as any other GMF Steel Group publications.
I understand that this authorization will continue indefinitely. I attest that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child or children listed below and that I have full authority to consent and authorize GMF Steel Group to use their likenesses and names.
I hereby release and hold harmless GMF Steel Group, its employees and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of GMF Steel Group from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality for myself and for the minor child(ren) listed below associated with any images taken or provided to GMF Steel Group for the purpose of GMF Steel Group’s marketing materials and/or publications.
