  • Call for Memorabilia: Lowell WinterFest

  • The City of Lowell is celebrating Winterfest 2026 and the Bicentennial kickoff February 28, 2026 in downtown Lowell. In preparation for this momentous occasion, Cultural Affairs and Special Events (CASE) will host an Art in City Hall exhibit showcasing Winterfest artifacts and memorabilia. The exhibit will run throughout the month of February, leading up to this iconic winter festival. We are inviting submissions of artifacts and memorabilia through Feb. 6th, and all are welcome to join us for a reception on Tuesday, February 17th at 5:30pm.

  • DETAILS:

    • Everyone is invited to share memorabilia from previous WinterFests.
    • All items are welcome as long as they are appropriate for all ages.
    • 2D and 3D pieces are welcome.
    • Items will be accepted  from January 26th - February 6th. 
    • Owners must be comfortable having their property displayed in a public place

    TIMELINE:

    • Submissions Accepted: January 23 - February 6, 2026
    • Display: February 9 - March 2, 2026
    • Items will be available for pick up beginning March 2nd

    • Hand-Delivery - Deliver all materials to Lowell City Hall, Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in 375 Merrimack Street, Room 7, Lowell, MA 01852
