2026 New England Book Award Submissions

2026 New England Book Award Submissions
Titles submitted for the New England Book Awards must be either about New England, set in New England, or written by an author residing in New England. Submissions can be hardcovers, paperback originals, or reissues. Submissions must publish between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026.

The award categories are Children's, Middle Grade, Young Adult, Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction, and Poetry.

NEIBA members (publishing partners, including imprints) can submit up to 10 titles free of charge. After 10 titles, there is a $35 charge per title.

NEIBA member booksellers may submit unlimited titles, free of charge.

Non-NEIBA members will be charged a fee of $50 per title.

NEIBA's awards committees are comprised of booksellers, giving them access to review copies. Please do not send review copies with your submissions. Deadline for submissions is Friday, June 26, 2026.
