A Remake Learning Days Event
Join us for a special Remake Learning Days Event on May 9th!

Ready to take your turn on the mic? Ask questions, tell stories, and capture a moment in time with your family at the SLB Radio Youth Media Center. Join us for a hands-on recording session: learn about microphones, digital recorders, and mixers as you record a podcast of your very own.

Recommended for families with children ages 8 and up.

The SLB Radio Youth Media Center is co-located in the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh at 10 Children's Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Activities are free and no experience is needed.

During your visit to the Youth Media Center, you and your family will have the opportunity to record a podcast in one of our recording pods. SLB Radio will send a copy of your raw, unedited audio to the email address listed above. It will be sent via Google Drive and will be available for 30 days.*

Media Release: SLB Radio Productions offers a wide range of media-making programs for youth, giving students the opportunity to learn about digital recording, editing, writing, and related skills as they work with peers and adult mentors in a professional environment at SLB Radio’s Youth Media Center.

Work created during these programs may include audio recordings as well as photographs, short videos, news articles, social media posts, and other related media which SLB Radio Productions may share online and/or in print for the purpose of documentation, promotion, and–most importantly–celebrating the voices of the youth we serve.
