Welcome to Nelson Farmers Market!

The Nelson Farmers Market is the heart of our community. Our goal is to provide residents with access to fresh, local, and healthy food while also showcasing the talented artisans and makers who help make Nelson such a vibrant and creative community.

We proudly follow the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets (BCAFM) Make It, Bake It, Grow It philosophy. This means that all products sold at the market must be grown, baked, or handcrafted by the vendor, ensuring authenticity, quality, and a strong connection between producers and the community.

We are committed to supporting a strong, sustainable, and resilient local food and artisan economy here in Nelson, BC.

All vendors, both returning and new, are required to review the Vendor Handbook and submit an application each year.

Please review the Nelson Farmers Market Vendor Handbook in full before proceeding. By selecting “I have read,” you acknowledge that you have read the Vendor Handbook and agree to be bound by all rules, regulations, and policies outlined within it. Completion of this acknowledgement is a mandatory requirement of participation, and vendors will not be permitted to operate at the Nelson Farmers Market without agreeing to these terms.
