Description
This 2-day Masterclass offers participants a comprehensive introduction to the methods used for estimating extreme environmental conditions and extreme responses of offshore renewable energy structures. The course will cover a range of topics from the basics of statistical modelling, to recent developments in multivariate extreme value theory.
Pricing
General participant rate: £1000 (no VAT payable) - Course materials and lunch included. Participants are responsible for the cost and organisation of their travel and accommodation.
Early Career Researchers: Free - In line with EPSRC funding policy, the cost is covered for eligible, UK-Based academic researchers who meet the definition of an Early Career Researcher (PhD students within 12 months of completion, Post Doctoral Research Assistants (PDRAs), or early career academic staff within the first three years of their academic appointment), and are part of our network. Course materials and lunch are included, but individuals are responsible for covering expenses such as travel and accommodation.
