
Soft Spaces - Service Agreement & Policies
1. Services Provided:
Soft Spaces offers decluttering and clean-out services in a judgment-free, compassionate environment. Soft Spaces focuses on intentional decluttering decisions of donating, keeping, recycling, repurposing, gifting, creatively displaying, or throwing away items, as well as assistance with functional organizing and emtional reflection. The aim is for improvement and progress over perfection. Stuff management is a life-long process!
2. Packages:
-Focused Space Reset
-Sustainable Support Package
-Package options will be discussed during consult and decided on prior to first session.
Add-Ons (based on request and availability):
-Additional donation drop-offs (no trash): $25/load
-Virtual Coaching Sessions: $25/hour
3. Payment:
-Payments are accepted online via ACH, Venmo, PayPal, or Cash/Check. Credit Card is also an option, but less preferred due to fees.
-Payment is due at the end of each session unless you pre-pay for a package. In order to receive the discount of a package, the full amount must be paid before the first session.
-Late payments may result in future sessions being paused until payment received.
4. Location & Travel:
-Travel within 30 miles of Wichita is included at no extra charge.
-For clients located beyond 30 miles, a mileage fee of $0.72 per mile (round-trip, calculated beyond the first 30 miles) will apply to each session.
-To ensure travel time is sustainable and allows for meaningful progress during our sessions, the following minimum session lengths are suggested for clients outside the 30 mile radius from Wichita:
- 40–60 miles from Wichita: 4-hour minimum session
- Over 60 miles from Wichita: 5–6 hour minimum session
5. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy:
Please reach out as soon as you know you need to reschedule or cancel a session! I am very cautious about illness/sickness since I am working with different people every day.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled session cost.
For appointments outside of the Wichita metro area, travel fees will still apply if the cancellation occurs after travel has begun.
Illness, emergencies, and unforseen circumstances will be approached with compassion and discretion. Repeated cancelations on short notice may require prepayment for future sessions.

6. Emotional Support Disclaimer
Soft Spaces is a supportive and sensitive service, but it is not a substitute for therapy. I am not a licensed therapist. Emotional topics may arise; your emotional safety is a priority, and referrals to licensed professionals can be made if appropriate.
7. Safety/Working Conditions:
Please disclose if there is a known or suspected mold, pest or rodent infestation, or if areas of the home may have significant safety hazards, sanitation concerns, or extreme levels of clutter so we can determine the best and safest way to proceed.
Soft Spaces reserves the right to pause or discontinue a session if working conditions are deemed unsafe. Soft Spaces does not service garages, crawlspaces, or attics, but can help with referrals for those areas as needed.
8. Client Responsibilities
-Communicate openly and honestly.
-We will discuss homework and goals for you in between sessions if appropriate. This will help sharpen your decision-making skills and confidence, and move the process along.
-Please keep pets out of the area we are working in, to work most effeciently.
-Understand that progress takes time. Be patient with yourself and the progression.
-Clients are responsible for arranging trash removal or hazardous waste removal, beyond normal household disposal, as needed.
-Maintain a safe and respectful space for both client and coach.
-Please have boxes and trash bags available at time of session as needed.
9. Liability
Soft Spaces is not responsible for lost, damaged, or donated/discarded items, or for injury sustained during sessions. Please take reasonable precautions with valuable or fragile belongings and with your own safety. Soft Spaces LLC maintains general liability insurance appropriate to the services provided.
All decisions regarding the keeping, discarding, or donating of items remain the sole responsibility of the client. Soft Spaces LLC provides guidance, reflection, and support, but the client retains full decision-making authority regarding their belongings. Once items have been removed from the home with the client’s permission and transported to a donation center, Soft Spaces LLC cannot guarantee their return.
Soft Spaces LLC provides decluttering and supportive clean-out services but is not equipped for severe hoarding situations, biohazard environments, or large-scale junk removal. If the conditions of a home exceed the scope of services provided, Soft Spaces may recommend specialized cleaning or removal services before continuing work.
Soft Spaces LLC reserves the right to pause, reschedule, or discontinue services if working conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise outside the scope of services provided, or if the working relationship becomes incompatible with the nature of the services.
10. Privacy Policy
Confidentiality: All information received from you is confidential.
Photos: It can be a good idea for you or I to take a "starting point" picture before we work on an area so we can be visually motivated by how far we get! I will talk to you and get permission before ever sharing it on social media (you will never be identified as the client) or in my portfolio.
Client Information: Your personal information (name, address, phone, email) is used only for scheduling, communication, and billing. It is never shared with third parties.
Respect & Safety: My role is to support you, not to pressure or judge. Your home, your belongings, your pace, and your choices are always respected!
