Swim Ulster in partnership with Sport NI, Swim Ireland, and Moira Lakes invite you to take part in this FREE Get Wet Stay Safe session being held at Moira lakes.
The details are as follows:

Times: 10.00am to 11.00

- Dynamic risk assessing
- Water safety code
- Flags and Signage
- Equipment suggestions
- Planning your post swim recovery
- Cold water shock/hypothermia
- Wind,waves, tides and currents
- Water Based
- Entries
- Cold water acclimatisation
- Flotation, rotation and orientation
- Treading water
- Float to live
- Emergency signalling
- Exits and implementing your post recovery
Pre-requisties: Be over 18yrs of age and be able to swim
Equipment: Wetsuits are NOT mandatory, but the water will be cold so we recommend that a wetsuit is worn if you have one.
A FREE tow float is provided for all those who attend the session.
