Clone of Clinton County Electric Cooperative, Inc. Scholarship honoring Kevin Kampwerth

The objective of our program is to honor the memory of Kevin Kampwerth who served as a director for Clinton County Electric Cooperative (CCEC) and provide a $1,000 scholarship to students enrolled at Kaskaskia College.

To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:

Be a high school graduate or graduating in 2026
Be a CCEC member, spouse, or child of a member
Be accepted for enrollment (or enrolled) at Kaskaskia College
Exhibit potential for successful completion of course study
Be a resident of Illinois
Not be an immediate relative (spouses, children, and parents) of the Employees or Directors of CCEC
Past applicants may reapply, but no student may win more than one time.

The criteria for awarding scholarships are as follows:

Evidence of self-help. How is the student contributing financially to his/her education?
Character and personality
- Maturity
- Industriousness and motivation
- Intellectual interest
- Moral character
- Demonstrated leadership
Community involvement
Essay, Cooperative principles

Students will be required to participate in an interview with the Scholarship Review Committee.

In order to be considered, all applicants must submit/upload:
