Beginner's 12 Car Rally - Friday 20 February 2026
Eastern Counties Motor Club is running a navigational training exercise aimed solely at beginner navigators using road-going cars on the evening of Friday 20th February

The event is open to anybody who has never done a navigational 12 car or road rally before, or who has competed as a beginner on fewer than three 12 car rallies. There are no restrictions on drivers’ experience.

The event will start and finish at Freston Village Hall, near Ipswich.

Crews are encouraged to attend our tabletop rally scheduled for Tuesday 20 January, in Ipswich, where training will be provided ahead of the beginner’s event. If you are unable to attend the tabletop rally, please do not let this put you off from entering – we can send you some training materials ahead of the event and experts will be in attendance on the 20th to support you.
