Contestants may win more than one crown (example: Teen Miss and Miss Belle of the Boil or Overall Most Handsome and Sweetheart). Cash scholarships/prizes awarded directly to King/Queen after photo shoot at festival. Ride wristband for those who wish to participate. Prizes are nontransferable.

 

 

 

LOCATION The First United Methodist Church Family Life Center is located at 1100 W. Bower, Harrison. This is a spacious auditorium with plenty of parking. Dressing rooms are provided. Absolutely no food or drink other than water allowed in the facility. No hot tools placed on unprotected surfaces in dressing room. Please clean up after yourself and help us maintain a positive relationship with this venue.

Crowning and group photo will follow each division.

SCHEDULE Premier & Ladies - Ages 10+
3:00 PM – Pageant Begins
Order of Events: Premier Miss, Jr. Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms., Classic Ms., King Crawdaddy Competition, Belle of the Boil (10–16), Belle of the Boil (17+), Announcement of 10+ Overall Awards
Crowning and group photo will follow each division. Miss Crawdad Days will take cape photos on stage afterward.

ATTIRE Contestants will compete in a formal/pageant dress appropriate for their division. Attire should be age-appropriate and complimentary to the contestant.

PHOTOGENIC Headshot must be submitted with online registration or emailed by April 30. No hard copies accepted. Three photos must be entered to qualify for Overall Photogenic. No photogenics will be accepted after April 30. 

CROWD FAVORITE Votes are cast during the pageant at $1 per vote. Winners are determined by the highest number of votes. Division and Overall Crowd Favorite winners (0–9 and 10+) will be crowned.

BEAU OF THE BOIL/BELLE OF THE BOIL NEW FOR 2026 - Beau of the Boil! Themewear modeled to upbeat music. Attire is anything red, small props allowed, freestyle modeling. Divisions: Boys 0-9yr, Girls 0-4yr, 5-9yr, 10-16yr, and 17yr+.

SWEETHEART We are collecting non-perishable food items for local food pantries. Two Sweethearts (0–9 and 10+) will be crowned. Winner is determined by the contestant who donates the most items (counted as packaged for retail). There is no cost to enter - simply bring items to contestant check-in.

AGE DIVISIONS & ELIGIBILITY Compete age as of pageant day or move up one division. No residency requirements – this is an open pageant. Open to all marital and parental statuses. 2025 Court is not eligible unless they have aged up into a new division. NEW FOR 2026 - The Premier Miss division is designed for girls and ladies with differing abilities who wish to compete in a supportive, structured pageant experience. This division will be judged and awarded just like all other divisions.

STAGE FORMATION Contestants will enter from stage right, go to X1 > X2 > X3 > X4, then exit stage left.

 

JUDGES & SCORE SHEETS Judges are experienced professionals from outside the immediate area and will be announced on Facebook closer to the event. Judges may not be approached at any time. See sample score sheet below. Score sheets may be picked up at the front table after crowning by showing contestant number. Unclaimed score sheets will be destroyed after the pageant. Please do not message or email requesting score sheets.

 

2026 COURT REQUIREMENTS The 24th annual Crawdad Days Festival will take May 7th-9th. Kings and Queens are required to attend the Crawdad Days Festival on Saturday, May 9. The court will host a baby contest, participate in festival events, and take part in a photo shoot. All communication will take place in a private Facebook group. The 2026 Court is expected to return to crown at the 2027 pageant. There are no additional appearances, obligations, requirements, or contractual commitments beyond what is outlined above.

KING CRAWDADDY COMPETITION Bring your favorite guy - dad, stepdad, grandpa, uncle, brother, husband, or boyfriend - for this fun, crowd-pleasing competition. Two King Crawdaddy winners (morning and afternoon) will be crowned and receive a cash prize. No cost to enter! Sign up at the front table during the pageant. Takes place before the Belle of the Boil competition. Festive attire encouraged but not required. Contestants will parade and model individually to upbeat music. This lighthearted event is all about fun and making memories.
