2026 Scholarship Application Form

If selected, you may be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence will be generated from the personal information submitted in the application. So, please use proper names and spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Union Co. Farm Bureau will award at least THREE $1,000 scholarships. 

Additionally, UCFB will award two named scholarships: Halford Dillow Memorial Scholarship ($1,000, high school seniors only) and Bill Flamm Memorial Scholarship ($500, high school and college students). All UCFB scholarships require (annually, one time completion) of this application. 

All scholarship applicants must meet the following general criteria to be considered:

1.    Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in college to apply.

2.    Must be a UCFB member, or dependent and must be a resident of Illinois.

3.    Preference will be given to students accepted/enrolled in a program that offers agriculture courses and plan to major in an agriculture field of study at one of the following schools: an accredited vocational or technical school program, junior college, or 4-year university

4.    Must exhibit potential for successful completion of course of study.

5.    Applicants may receive a maximum of two UCFB scholarships during their college career.

In addition to eligibility guidelines, the following is considered in selecting recipients: 

• Involvement in School Activities, Community and proven Leadership
• Strength of Personal Essay

All scholarship funds are sent directly to the designated institution prior to the beginning of the academic year, around September 1.

Scholarship applications are reviewed by a committee of UCFB Directors and members.

All applications must be submitted electronically to be considered. No handwritten applications will be accepted. Deadline is 4:30 PM CST on Friday, April 3, 2026.

• Upload unofficial high school or college transcript to this application for the 2025-26 school year.
• Upload a PROFESSIONAL PHOTO for publication use.
