    1. Festival Dates: Salmon Days will host live music showcases on October 3–4, 2026.
    2. Submissions: To be considered as a performer at the 2026 Salmon Days Festival, musicians must submit an Artist/Band application. Applications are accepted exclusively through our online platform and will remain open until June 30, 2026. There is no fee to apply.
    3. Eligibility: Salmon Days welcomes local, domestic, and international artists, and all musical genres are encouraged to apply.
    4. Selection Process: Performance slots are limited, and our artist selection committee carefully curates the lineup for Salmon Days. Due to the high volume of submissions received, we are only able to contact successful applicants. We appreciate your interest and thank you for your patience throughout the selection process.
    5. Notification: Selected artists will be notified prior to August 31, 2026.
    6. Promotion: All official Salmon Days performances will be promoted through Festival media channels and those of our partners where applicable.
    7. Expenses: As a showcase festival, Salmon Days does not cover performance-related expenses, including but not limited to travel, lodging, video production, recording, or additional equipment. Artists are responsible for all associated costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    8. Right to Funds: The artist shall have no claim to any funds collected by the Festival or its contractors from the sale of food, beverages, and/or merchandise during the Festival, including sales occurring during the artist’s contracted performance.
    9. Agreements: Prior to performing, selected artists will be required to execute standard agreements reflecting these terms and conditions, including commercially reasonable representations, warranties, and necessary master, mechanical, and synchronization authorizations and release forms.
    10. Confirmation: If accepted, artists will receive preliminary performance confirmation by mid-July 2026, with final confirmations sent at a later date.
    11. Scheduling: Salmon Days reserves the right to determine all performance scheduling, including performance day and time.
    12. Sponsorships: Artists and bands may not seek or accept sponsorships related to their performance.
    13. Stage Sharing: Artists/bands are strictly prohibited from sharing the stage with another artist or musician unless prior written approval is granted by Salmon Days no later than September 25, 2026.
    14. Family-Oriented Event: Salmon Days is a family-oriented event. Artists must exercise appropriate discretion regarding song material, language, and overall stage content.
    15. Check-In Time: Artists are required to arrive onsite no later than one (1) hour prior to their scheduled performance time and must be fully prepared to begin promptly at their assigned start time. On-stage practice or warm-ups are not permitted. Artists who arrive too late to begin at their scheduled time may forfeit their opportunity to perform, and payment may be withheld at the discretion of the stage manager.
    16. Withdrawals/Cancellations: If an artist or band needs to withdraw from their performance, Salmon Days must be notified as soon as possible and no later than September 17, 2026, to allow sufficient time to secure a replacement. Failure to provide advance notice may negatively affect future performance opportunities with the Festival.
    17. Right of Refusal: The Salmon Days Festival, produced by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any submission for any reason.
    18. Damages: The artist shall be responsible for any damage to property arising out of or in connection with the artist’s performance that is caused by the artist’s negligence. The artist agrees to reimburse the event organizer for the full cost of repair or replacement of such damaged property.
    19. Payment: The artist will be paid in full at the conclusion of their scheduled performance, provided they have complied with all terms and conditions outlined in this document and in their signed contract.
    20. Trademark Use: The Issaquah Salmon Days Festival name, logo, and theme are trademarked. Any use must be pre-approved by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce.
    21. Past Participation: Past participation in Salmon Days does not guarantee acceptance for future Festivals.
    22. Photo & Video Release: If accepted, artists agree to allow video, audio, and photographs of their performance to be used by Salmon Days for publicity, marketing, and grant application purposes, including traditional radio, television, print media, and clips from public social media postings.
       

    Artist/Band Submissions Are Open To:

    • All musical genres
    • Solo artists, duos, and full bands
    • Acoustic and amplified performers
    • Cover bands and tribute artists
       

    Performance Details for Invited Artists:

    • Guaranteed at least one performance slot.
    • Performance sets typically run 60 minutes.
    • Performances will be scheduled for either October 3 or October 4, 2026
      (Please apply only if you are available on both dates).
    • Salmon Days provides a small stipend or agreed-upon fee for all selected performers.
    • Professional sound and lighting, including shared backline for bands, will be provided
    • Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the artist

     

  • INDEMNITY AND WAIVER

    The APPLICANT shall indemnify and hold the GREATER ISSAQUAH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and its agents, employees, volunteers and/or officers, harmless from and shall process and defend at its own expense any and all claims, demands, suits, at law or equity, actions, penalties, loss, damages, or costs, of whatsoever kind or nature, brought against the GREATER ISSAQUAH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE arising out of, or in connection with, or incident to, the execution of this Agreement and/or APPLICANT'S performance or failure to perform any aspect of this Agreement; provided, however that if such claims are caused by, or result from, the concurrent negligence of the GREATER ISSAQUAH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, its agents, employees, volunteers and/or officers, this indemnity provisions shall be valid and enforceable only to the extent of the negligence of the APPLICANT; and provided further, that nothing herein shall require the APPLICANT to hold harmless or defend the GREATER ISSAQUAH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, its agents, employees, volunteers and/or officers for damages or loss caused by the GREATER ISSAQUAH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’s sole negligence.

     

    The APPLICANT expressly agrees that the indemnification provided herein constitutes the contractor's waiver of immunity under Title 51 R.C.W., for the purposes of this Agreement. This waiver has been mutually negotiated by the parties. The provisions of this section shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement.
