I understand that the Participant will be expected to follow all Sending Project safety guidelines and policies. If the Participant refuses to follow these guidelines I understand that the Participant may be dismissed from the trip. If such a situation develops, and The Sending Project leadership decides that the Participant should be dismissed from the trip and returned home, I acknowledge and accept full responsibility for payment of all additional expenses incurred.*

I release and forever discharge (for myself, and for the Participant as permitted by law) The Sending Project, and its respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents from liability for acts or omissions, including negligent acts or omissions, causing damage, loss, injury or death to me or the Participant while participating in the trip. I also agree to indemnify and hold The Sending Project, and its respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents harmless from any and all liability, including liability for negligence, arising in conjunction with or resulting from my or the Participant’s participation in the trip. *

I give my permission to The Sending Project to use any oral or written comments made by, and any photographs or videos taken of, the Participant for promotional purposes. *

Funds submitted toward my trip are payments, not donations, and therefore are not tax-deductible. If, as a trip participant, I am unable to go on the trip or if the trip is cancelled for any reason, The Sending Project will provide a refund according to the following schedule: 1) if the cancellation occurs more than 150 days before the trip departure date, a full refund will be provided; 2) if the cancellation occurs 45-149 days before the trip departure date, a refund will be provided that equals the total funds submitted minus a 10% administrative fee and any expenses already incurred by The Sending Project; and 3) if the cancellation occurs less than 45 days before the trip departure date, no refund will be provided.*
