TGAM and Allpress Espresso have partnered to launch the Emerging Artist Program – a chance for one up-and-coming creative to showcase their work at The Great Artist Market free of charge.

Whether you’re painting for the first time in decades, designing your first collection of prints, or just starting to sell your handmade ceramics, this is your moment to share your art with the community.

- A free stall at the next TGAM event on Saturday 28 March 2026
- Promotion of your work through TGAM & Allpress Espresso channels
Who Can Apply

We welcome applications from all disciplines – painting, illustration, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, mixed media, jewellery, and more. You’re considered an emerging artist if:
- You’re in the early stages of your creative practice (selling for less than 3 years, or preparing to start selling)
- You have not yet had a solo exhibition or extensive commercial representation
- Your work is original and made by you (no mass-produced items)
- You can attend the market in person to present and sell your work
- You’re open to engaging with the TGAM community and sharing your creative story
- You’re local to the Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Lockyer Valley regions or surrounds
- You're an Australian Resident over the age of 18

Selection Criteria

The chosen artist will be selected based on:
- Originality & creativity – fresh ideas, unique style
- Alignment with TGAM ethos – community spirit, handmade focus
- Potential for growth – someone who would genuinely benefit from a supportive platform to launch or develop their work
- Presentation – ability to display work in a market setting
