IHPBA 2026 - Trainee Grant Application Form

  • Trainee Grant Eligibility

    Applicants should:

    • Be an IHPBA Junior Member.
      E-A/AP: Trainees, residents or fellows enrolled in a programme of medical education or research, or a practicing surgeon under the age of 35 (with proof of birth date).
      AHPBA: Junior members are residents or fellows enrolled in a recognised programme of medical education or research.
    • Be available to attend the full scientific programme of the Congress (29-31 October, 2026).
    • Have or be able to obtain the required documents for travel to Singapore.
    • Have an accepted abstract for presentation (oral, eposter, video, evideo)
      Supporting Documents:
    • A letter of recommendation is required from the applicant’s department chair, programme director or IHPBA chapter president. The letter must confirm that each of the eligibility criteria has been met prior to application.
    • A written statement from the applicant explaining why they are applying and the potential benefits for them if they are able to attend.
