About this event:
Reclaiming Body Wisdom, Voice & Dignity Across the Menstrual Lifespan
For generations, menstrual experiences have been silenced minimised, or medicalised. "Demystifying Menstruality" is a deeply affirming, educational and experiential day course supporting women to reconnect with their bodies, strengthen their voice, and feel informed, supported, and valued across the full menstrual journey - from menarche to menopause and mature years.
This course goes beyond symptom management. It centres understanding, advocacy, cultural wisdom and embodied self-trust. Participants are invited to explore menstruality as a whole-life process, restoring dignity to experiences often shrouded in shame or dismissal.
What you will explore:
- Menstruality as a lifelong process
- Body literacy and menstrual health basics
- Challenging stigma, shame, and inherited narratives
- Emotional rhythms, moods, and inner seasons
- Advocacy skills for navigating healthcare systems
- Cultural and ancestral menstrual wisdom
- Perimenopause, menopause, and life transitions
- Reclaiming intuition, insight, and embodied knowledge
This course is for you if you:
- Feel dismissed or unheard in menstrual healthcare
- Experience painful, heavy, or irregular cycles
- Are navigating PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, perimenopause, or menopause
- Want advocacy tools and body-based understanding
- Are ready to transform shame into self-respect
About the facilitator:
Shereen Lincoln is an experienced online motivator and group facilitator strengthening voice, self-trust, and informed advocacy, particularly for those navigating long-term health conditions and marginalised experiences.
She is the author of Living As Your Hero: Moving On from CSA, a self-help guide supporting survivors to navigate recovery and the UK legal system with clarity and dignity. As founder of "The W.O.M.B – The Wonders of My Body", Shereen elevates attitudes toward menstruality so women feel seen, heard, and valued throughout their lives.
Furthermore, Shereen is the creator of the "Claim Your Power" card deck, where she blends advocacy, sacred womancraft, Buddhist-inspired compassion, and practical tools to create brave, welcoming spaces where women stop apologising for being human.
