Application Instructions and Requirements:
Applicants must reside in the Columbia (SC) Alumnae Chapter service areas (Fairfield, Lexington, Newberry, or Richland counties) to be eligible for the scholarship. Application must be completed by the applicant in a typed format.

All applicants must include a typed narrative of 400-750 words describing how current national policies or events have shaped their perspective regarding their career goals.
Additional documents are required:
- Two (2) signed letters of recommendation from the following (one from each category):
- A current instructor
- A character reference letter - The person writing the letter should be someone other than a relative, who knows the applicant well (i.e., a minister, neighbor or supervisor)
- Current Official Transcript. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must include the fall 2025 grades.
- Resume (optional) as supporting documentaion.
- All documents must be uploaded with your application.
Letters must contain an original signature. We will not accept letters with digital signatures. You may make a copy of your signed letter of recommendation and upload the copy as part of your application packet.
