VRmont Studios: Waiver and Release of Liability
Location: Springfield, VT Activity: Virtual Reality (VR) Escape Room and Simulation Services
1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the undersigned, understand that participating in Virtual Reality (VR) activities involves certain inherent risks. These include, but are not limited to:
Physical Injury: Bumping into walls, furniture, or other participants; tripping; or loss of balance.
Motion Sickness: Nausea, dizziness, eye strain, disorientation, or vertigo.
Pre-existing Conditions: Potential triggers for individuals with epilepsy, heart conditions, or anxiety.
Equipment Risks: Use of headsets, cables, and hand controllers.
2. Physical and Mental Health
I represent that I am in good health and do not have any physical or mental conditions that would make participation in a VR experience dangerous for myself or others. I agree to immediately stop the activity and notify a VRmont Studios staff member if I feel unwell or experience any discomfort.
3. Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration for being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge VRmont Studios, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action resulting from my participation. This includes:
Personal injury or property damage.
Negligence on the part of VRmont Studios staff.
Equipment failure or malfunction.
4. Use of Equipment
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the staff. I understand that I may be held financially responsible for any intentional or reckless damage caused to VRmont Studios equipment (headsets, PCs, controllers) during my session.
5. Consent for Minors (If Applicable)
If the participant is under 18 years of age, I, as the parent or legal guardian, give my consent for their participation and agree to be bound by the terms of this waiver on their behalf.
