Dear Client,
Welcome to the coaching relationship! I am excited to be working with you in this process.
I imagine that you would like to know a little about me. I have been married to my spouse, Steve, for almost 20 years. We have a 4-year-old boy that brings so much joy to our lives. I served as a Licensed Pastor for 13 years with a focus on Children’s, Youth and Recovery ministries. We currently own a small business and enjoy working with our hands and getting to be creative on a daily basis.
My journey at Faithful and True began in March of 2013. I found out about my husband’s betrayal in a very public and painful way. My life was flipped upside down. I remember thinking that there was no way someone could survive something like this. I was introduced to Debbie Laaser very early in my journey, which I believe was pivotal in my healing. I could relate to many parts of her story and found so much comfort in sitting with someone who understood the pain that I was walking through. While our stories had different details, the feelings and pain were the same. This wasn’t just head knowledge to her. It was a path she had walked.
After many years of my own individual counseling and group therapy, I felt drawn towards helping women in this same way. In 2018 I began co-facilitating groups at Faithful and True. I have learned from Debbie, Susie Smidt and Elizabeth Hardesty. I have been honored to sit under their wisdom and guidance for many years now. My husband and I co-lead the Couple’s Journey 1 Workshop with Chris and Elizabeth Hardesty. I also help at the Women’s Journey Workshops with small groups and teachings.
I am currently a Professional Mental Health Coach. I lead groups at Faithful and True in person and via Zoom under the guidance of licensed therapists. I also coach women that are in my groups individually.
As we begin this coaching relationship, my hope is that you will find comfort in knowing that I have walked a similar road. We will work together to help you find a path forward. The best results happen when people are honest with themselves throughout the coaching process. I will listen well, be authentic and supportive, and will honor your story.
