  • APPROVED USE

  • You will use the vehicle only for short-term personal transportation needs such as:

    • Work and job search
    • Medical and VA appointments
    • Housing, benefits, and essential errands

    Loan term

    • This is an as-needed loan, up to 90 days maximum.
      EAGLE OPS may end this loan at any time for program needs, safety concerns, missed check-ins, or noncompliance.

    No other drivers

    • Only you may drive the vehicle. No other drivers are allowed.

  • PROHIBITED USE

  • You will not:

    • Smoke or vape in the vehicle.
    • Drive after drinking alcohol or while impaired by any substance.
    • Carry open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.
    • Use a cell phone while driving for any reason, even hands-free.
    • Use the vehicle for rideshare, delivery, towing, off-road use, racing, or illegal activity.
    • Allow any other person to drive the vehicle for any reason.

  • CARE AND MAINTENANCE

    • Keep the vehicle clean and in safe operating condition.
    • Report warning lights, leaks, or safety issues right away.
    • Do not authorize repairs unless EAGLE OPS approves in writing, except emergency towing for safety.

  • TICKETS AND FEES

  • Tickets, tolls, and fees

    • You will pay all tickets, tolls, impound fees, and parking charges during your loan.
    • If EAGLE OPS pays a charge tied to your use, you will reimburse EAGLE OPS within 14 days.

  • INSURANCE

  • Insurance (with optional languange)

    • EAGLE OPS maintains liability insurance on the vehicle.
    • Coverage depends on the policy terms and the facts of the incident.
    • Prohibited use, phone use while driving, alcohol use, or any non-authorized driver may void coverage.
    • You may be personally responsible for losses not covered, including vehicle damage, deductibles, and third-party claims outside policy coverage.

  • CHECK-INS

  • ACCIDENTS, THEFT, BREAKDOWN

  • Accidents, theft, breakdowns, and police contact
    If any incident occurs, you will:

    • Call 911 when needed.
      Call EAGLE OPS as soon as possible, and no later than 2 hours.
    • Take photos of the scene, vehicles, plates, and any injuries.
    • Get names, phone numbers, and insurance info from involved parties.
    • Get a police report number when applicable.
    • Not admit fault or agree to pay at the scene.
    • Cooperate with the insurance claim process.
    • If you used a phone while driving, drove after drinking, or any other person drove the vehicle, you agree you are responsible for all costs not covered by insurance, including deductibles, damage, towing, and third-party claims.

    If the vehicle breaks down or becomes unsafe to drive:

    Pull over to a safe location.
    Turn on hazard lights.
    Call 911 if needed.
    Call EAGLE OPS as soon as possible, and no later than 2 hours.
    Do not keep driving if a warning light indicates overheating, low oil pressure, or brake failure.
    Do not leave the vehicle unattended unless safety requires it.
    EAGLE OPS assistance:

    EAGLE OPS will help arrange retrieval of the vehicle.
    EAGLE OPS will pay for one Uber ride for you back to work or home when the vehicle becomes disabled.
    You must contact EAGLE OPS before booking the ride unless there is an emergency.
    Driver-caused breakdowns:

    If the breakdown results from prohibited use, negligence, or misuse, EAGLE OPS will still help retrieve the vehicle and provide the Uber ride described above.
    You remain responsible for costs not covered by insurance tied to your actions, including damage, towing, storage, cleaning, tickets, and repairs.

  • RETURN AND LATE RETURN

  • Return

    • Return the vehicle on or before the due date and time.
    • Return keys and any accessories.
    • Return the vehicle clean, with the agreed fuel level.


    Late return

    • If you do not return the vehicle when due, EAGLE OPS may recover the vehicle by towing or retrieval.
    • You are responsible for towing, storage, cleaning, and admin costs tied to late return or noncompliance.

  • RELEASE AND REIMBURSEMENT

  • Release and reimbursement

    • You accept the risks of operating the vehicle.
    • You release EAGLE OPS Foundation, its officers, staff, and volunteers from claims connected to your use of the vehicle, to the extent allowed by law.
    • You agree to reimburse EAGLE OPS for costs, losses, or claims caused by your breach of this agreement, your negligence, or prohibited use.
