Client Acknowledgment & Service Agreement
Thank you for choosing Superior Tax Group to prepare your tax return. We truly appreciate your trust. Please take a moment to review the information below. By signing this agreement, you confirm that you understand and agree to the terms outlined.
Tax Return Preparation
We prepare your tax return using the information and documents you provide to us. It is important that you keep copies of all records used in the preparation of your return. Superior Tax Group may keep electronic copies of your documents for up to three (3) years for record-keeping purposes. While we apply professional judgment when addressing unclear tax matters, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or refund amounts.
Services & Fees
Our standard service includes preparation of your annual income tax return. Any additional services—such as payroll, sales tax filings, audits, or representation—are not included and will be billed separately. Payment is due once your return is completed. Tax returns and related documents will be released after all fees are paid in full. If payment is not received, Superior Tax Group reserves the right to pursue collection through legal means, including small claims or civil court, and recover related costs.
Refund Delays, Offsets & Advances
If your tax refund is delayed, reduced, or offset by the IRS, state agencies, or any other entity, you are still responsible for all preparation fees and any refund advance or loan amounts provided by Superior Tax Group. These balances must be paid directly to us, even if you do not receive your refund.
Professional Conduct & Reputation
We value professionalism and mutual respect. Any false, misleading, or defamatory statements—whether spoken, written, or shared online—about Superior Tax Group, its staff, or affiliates may result in legal action. Claims for damages may begin at $10,000 or more, depending on the impact. This includes social media posts, reviews, or public comments intended to harm our reputation.
Your Privacy & Identity Protection
Your privacy is very important to us. Superior Tax Group does not sell or share your personal information with outside parties. We may occasionally use limited information for internal communication, such as newsletters or holiday greetings. To help protect you from identity theft and fraud, we may request verification documents, including government-issued identification, Social Security cards, or birth certificates for you and any dependents.
IRS & State Notices
If you receive a notice from the IRS or a state tax agency related to a return we prepared, we will assist you with up to 90 minutes of response time at no additional charge. Any time beyond this will be billed at our standard hourly rate. Audit representation is not included unless you enroll in our Audit Maintenance Protection program.
Client Agreement
By signing this agreement, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms above. You also certify that all information you provide to Superior Tax Group is accurate, complete, and truthful.
