This entry level workshop will be taught by Joi Slemp of Prosper and the Creative Academy! Attendees will learn how to stay organized and track finances for their art practice, including specific affordable resources.
About the Instructor:

Meet Joi Slemp, a visionary entrepreneur, and devoted advocate of the local arts community. With an inspiring journey in the world of small business, Joi's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own thriving bookkeeping practice, Prosper. As the owner and founder, she brings a fresh perspective to financial management, supporting countless businesses in achieving their dreams. With a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, she has been an instrumental partner for countless businesses, guiding them towards financial success and growth. Joi's dedication to providing clear, accurate, and personalized financial advice has earned her the trust and loyalty of her diverse clientele.Additionally, Joi's passion extends beyond numbers and spreadsheets. Embracing her love for the arts, she founded The Creative Academy, a one-of-a-kind fine arts program for early childhood development. Through this innovative venture, Joi fosters creativity, imagination, and self-expression in the hearts and minds of young learners, igniting a lifelong love for the arts.Beyond her business ventures, Joi finds joy in life's simple pleasures. About the Robbie Kienzle Artist Workshop Series:

This is one of eight workshops in the 2025/2026 Robbie Kienzle Artist Workshop Series - created by the Paseo Arts Association to provide opportunities for artist education on topics for professional development FREE of charge thanks to the Oklahoma Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts, Community Arts Learning grant funding. The Paseo Arts Association began this workshop series in 2022 and named it after the late Robbie Kienzle to honor her life and passion for artistic empowerment.
