Once we have an idea of numbers and where our young people are travelling from, the DRY Board will try to arrange pick up from central points throughout the Diocese, although you may need or wish to drop your child off.
Young people will be required to follow safety policies during their stay, which will be discussed with them on arrival. Please note that energy drinks will not be allowed in the centre or allowed to be purchased during the time there. Any drinks brought with them will be kept by leaders and returned at leaving time. Our phone policy means will be holding peoples' phones overnight during the weekend, that is between lights out at midnight and wake up around 8am. This is a pro-safety and a pro-sleep policy. Phones will be stored securely overnight and can be accessed in an emergency. If you need to make contact during those hours, please use Claire’s number.
Queries which arise before the weekend should be emailed to claire@derryandraphoe.org. Should there be an emergency when the young people are away the Diocesan Youth Officer (Claire) can be contacted at +447706314762 (phone, text, whatsapp).
An information sheet is available from parishes or contact claire@derryandraphoe.org
