NYCHA Climate Action Grant Screener Application

The screener application is the first step in applying for NYCHA Climate Action Grants. You’ll answer a few questions about yourself, your project idea, how you’d use the funds, who’s involved, and whether you’ve received funding before. Your responses help determine which grant category you’re invited to apply for.
The Public Housing Community Fund and The New York Climate Exchange are excited to open this year’s program with an initial screening application. Following the screening application, approved applicants will be invited to apply to one of three tiers of the action grants: Seed Grants, Growth Grants, and Sustain Grants. Grantees will be announced by Earth Day, April 22, 2026. The screener application must be submitted by Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Late applications will not be accepted.
