BYC offers 6 different membership types

Senior, Intermediate and House Member fee includes £50 that will be added to your Member card that can be spent in the club.

Family Membership fee includes £100 that will be added to your Member Card that can be spent in the club 

Senior: For members 26 and over who wish to participate in any on the water activities. - Joining fee: £74, Yearly Fee: £420

Intermediate: For members 23-26 who wish to particiapte in any on the water activites - Joining Fee: £30.20, Yearly Fee: £201

Junior: For members 18-23 who wish to particiapte in any on the water activites - Joining Fee: £18.80, Yearly Fee: £94

Cadet: For members under 18 who wish to particiapte in any on the water activites - Joining Fee: £18.80, Yearly Fee: £94

Family: For 2 adults and their children who wish to particiapte in any on the water activites - Joining Fee: £110.60, Yearly Fee: £653

House: For adult members who wish to particiapte only in off the water activities - Joining Fee: £25.20, Yearly Fee: £176

Outport: For adult members who reside primarily in a different country - Joining Fee: £13.40, Yearly Fee: £67

Parents and guardians are warned that the club is only able to provide safety boat cover during the hours of club racing. Outside these hours, parents and guardians have sole responsibility for their children and must appreciate that the club cannot be expected to exercise supervision or control. Even during club racing the club cannot accept responsibilty for children or any other persons not properly engaged in racing.

In the case of an application for a cadet membership - including those within family membership - the above must be signed by a parent or guardian.

The club relies upon each member paying an annual subscription in full - only in this way can costs be adequately covered and subscriptions be maintained at their very reasonable level; hence shorter term subscriptions are unavailable. Annual subscriptions are payable in advance, either in full following application, or in installments by variable direct debit, normally eleven monthly payments per year.

Please note that the annual subscription relates to the calendar year (1st Januray to 31st December) not to any rolling 12 month period and falls due each Januray 1st. Direct debit is strongly reccomended for your convenience as the payments are small and are calculated for you.
