After Hours: Insider at Sierra Community Theatre

Another popular After Hours: Insider event will be held at the Sierra Community Theatre on Tuesday, February 17 from 5:30-7 pm.

This is the first of the 2026 series presented by the Economic Vitality Team of Jefferson Matters.

Reservations are needed to go behind the scenes of this newly remodeled theatre to experience the actual projector area and the newly remodeled auditorium. Find out how movies are selected and operate; rules, regs & weird facts; the history of this theatre; and the innovation required to keep it going.

About the tour:

Participants will be led by staff and board members of the Sierra Community Theatre. There is a limited number of 35 guests who can participate in this exclusive tour, so make your reservation soon! Cost is $10/person. Following the tour, we're keeping it REEL with gourmet popcorn and drinks served.

Timeline:

5:30 PM – Guests check in at Sierra Theatre
5:40 PM – Guided tour begins in small groups, led by Sierra Theatre staff and board members, showcasing the behind the scenes areas of the theatre.
6:40 PM – Tour concludes, specialty popcorn bar & drinks served, networking time and Q & A with staff and attendees
7:00 PM – Event ends
