  • This form is only to be completed by students who will be attending Lamar L. Curry Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.

    Students should complete this form with the guidance of their parent/guardian.

  • The following core classes have been selected for your 2026-2027 schedule based on:

    • Grade level requirements
    • Magnet requirements (if applicable)
    • Academy requirements (if applicable)
    • ESOL requirements (if applicable)
    • IEP requirements (if applicable)
    • Assessment data
    • Current grades in respective subject area
    • Teacher recommendation

  • Elective Classes

  • *******READ CAREFULLY*******

    • Elective courses are offered based on enrollment, availability, program requirements, academic need, and teacher recommendation.
    • Physical Education is a required elective. Students may opt for Dance in lieu of PE. Additionally, students may opt out of PE/Dance by submitting a PE waiver. 
    • Students who score a Level 1 or 2 on the 2026 FAST Reading or Math will be assigned an Intensive Reading and/or Intensive Math class in lieu of an elective.
    • All IB MAGNET STUDENTS must choose a language class (Spanish of French)
    • All level 2 and 3 classes require teacher recommendation.
    • All level 3 classes are only available to 8th grade students.
    • All Spanish and French classes are high school level classes.
    • Office Aide is by administration recommendation only.
    • The following electives of all levels require a fee: Art, Band, Culinary, and Dance.
    • The administration has the right to adjust student schedules and holds the last decision in courses assigned.

We understand that electives courses are offered based on enrollment, availability, program requirements, academic need, and teacher recommendation. The LLCMS administration has the right to adjust student schedules and holds the last decision in courses assigned.
