Bountiful Davis Art Center (BDAC) is looking for performers to perform as part of our annual Summerfest. Summerfest is an outdoor cultural festival and will be held on Friday, Aug 7th and Saturday, Aug 8th at the beautiful and shaded Bountiful City Park. There are slots for performers Noon-7pm on both days.

We celebrate the diversity of artistic traditions and encourage applications from perfomers who reflect their rich heritage and cultures from around the world. To enhance the audience's experience, we ask group leaders to provide insights into the traditions or stories behind their performances.

Applications are open Feb 2nd- March 15th, 2026. Applicants will be notified of acceptance status before March 28th, 2026.

Selected performers for 2026 Summerfest will be given a 45 minute set beginning on the hour. Performances will take place from 12pm-7pm on Friday, Aug 7th and Saturday, Aug 8th. Exact time slots will be assigned by the Bountiful Davis Art Center.

As a nonprofit selecting a wide range of performing artists, BDAC’s Summerfest is striving to balance equity, access, and sustainability in how we compensate performers—while continuing to support our headliner artists. In 2026, we are introducing a tiered stipend approach with limited availability in each tier.

Please help us by selecting the tier that works best for you and your 45-minute set and travel. Final tier placement and scheduling will be determined based on programming needs, ensemble size, and overall festival balance.

Stipends are offered per performance (not per performer) and include basic production support.

2026 SUMMERFEST PARTICIPANT POLICIES

1. Bountiful Davis Summerfest takes place at the Bountiful City Park, located
at 400 N 200 W, Bountiful, UT 84010.
2. Parking is located on 100 South, 200 South, and 100 East, and near the South Davis Rec Center.
3. Bathrooms/Changing Rooms are available on site.
4. The BDAC is not liable for damage, theft, or loss of property.
5. If selected to perform, your performance act will be assigned a time slot of 45 minutes to perform.
6. Group needs to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their performance and check
in with a BDAC Representative. Check in location will be specified closer to festival date.
7. In accordance with Bountiful City ordinances, NO alcoholic beverages are
permitted.
8. No smoking is allowed in Bountiful City Park.
9. All performers should be aware that journalists, staff, festival visitors, etc will
be filming/photographing the event. Some footage may appear in press and/or
promotional materials. Images will not be published by BDAC for sale, but BDAC may not credit all works that happen to appear in this footage. By agreeing to the above conditions, you acknowledge that BDAC is not liable for protecting your intellectual property as it appears in such press/promotional materials.
10. Failure to adhere to any of the above mentioned regulations will result in
forfeiture of your deposit and could jeopardize your participation in future BDAC organized events.

This contract applies to all members of the participant group, including performers, musicians, directors, choreographers, interpreters, administrative representatives, and any other participant travelling under the BDAC invitation.
