Your child’s safety is our highest priority. Because we work in a shared teaching kitchen, it is essential that all allergy and medical information is accurate, complete, and updated each session.

I understand and acknowledge that:

• Young Chefs Culinary Academy is not a nut-free, allergen-free, or gluten-free facility.
• Ingredients may be processed in facilities that handle common allergens.
• Reasonable precautions will be taken; however, cross-contact cannot be fully eliminated in a shared kitchen environment.
• Recipe substitutions may be limited based on curriculum and safety considerations.

I understand and accept these conditions.

 

Young Chefs Culinary Academy maintains a focused, student-centered classroom environment. To support student independence, safety, and learning flow, we use a limited parent peek-in policy rather than open observation.

Media & Photo Release

I understand and agree that:

• My child may be photographed or recorded during classes, workshops, camps, or special events for educational, marketing, and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, print materials, and internal communications.
• Photos and videos are used to provide families with transparent insight into classroom activities while minimizing in-class disruptions.
  Images will never be used in a way that intentionally identifies a child by full name or discloses private information.

Parent Peek-In Policy Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that:

• Parents and guardians do not observe classes in-session unless specifically invited by the instructor.
• Peek-ins may occur only during designated moments which you will be notified of the timing.
• Media shared by the academy (photos/videos) serves as the primary way families stay connected to classroom experiences..
• This policy helps students build confidence, independence, and kitchen safety awareness.
  I understand that failure to follow the peek-in policy may result in being asked to step out of the classroom space.

I understand that participation in culinary activities involves the use of kitchen equipment, heat, and tools based on age and curriculum.

I acknowledge the risks and agree that Young Chefs Culinary Academy and its instructors are not liable for injuries resulting from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

I understand that students are expected to:

1. Follow kitchen safety rules
2. Show respect to instructors and peers
3. Use equipment responsibly.

Failure to follow rules may result in dismissal from class without refund

• Enrollment is confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis and is not secured until payment is completed.
• The registration & materials fee is due at the time of enrollment and is non-refundable.
• Tuition is due at the time of enrollment, either paid in full or through an approved payment plan beginning at enrollment.
• Seats are not held without payment.
• If enrolled under a payment plan, I authorize automatic payments according to the published schedule and understand that failure to remain current may result in suspension or withdrawal from the program.
• Tuition refund, withdrawal, and make-up policies are outlined in the Parent Handbook.
• Workshops, camps, and special events require payment in full at registration.

Founding Families Program (Limited Availability)

Founding Families receive exclusive benefits for supporting the launch of Young Chefs Culinary Academy.

Benefits include:

• Priority enrollment & waitlist placement
• Founding Families pricing
• Exclusive merchandise or recognition
• Invitational to special events and workshops

Bronze Founding Family status is automatically included for families enrolling during our launch period.

Families may choose to upgrade to Silver or Gold Founding status for additional perks and legacy recognition. All Founding upgrades are one-time fees per family and non-transferable.

 

• I acknowledge that Founding Families status is limited to the inaugural enrollment period and that Silver and Gold Founding upgrades are optional, one-time payments collected at enrollment.
• I understand that Bronze Founding Families are subject to the standard registration fee, unless otherwise noted in a published promotion.
• I understand that Silver Founding Families receive a reduced registration fee for the launch semester only.
• I understand that Gold Founding Families receive $0 registration fee for the first semester and a lifetime reduced registration fee of $25 per semester for the enrolled household. 
• I acknowledge that Silver and Gold Founding Families receive a locked-in tuition rate for one academic year, defined as 12 months from the student’s initial enrollment date, even if tuition rates increase during that period.
• I understand that the tuition lock applies only to the originally enrolled student and program, does not extend to additional programs or siblings, and expires automatically after 12 months, at which time tuition will adjust to current published rates.
• I understand that Founding Families perks are non-transferable and that priority enrollment does not guarantee future class placement.
