    This is the first step in the submission process. You do not need to write the full story here. A short overview is enough.

    After submitting, you will receive email instructions to self-record your story or book an interview with Kelly Kennedy.

    • a customer you never forgot
    • a coworker or boss story
    • something funny or unbelievable
    • something scary or unsettling
    • a close call or meltdown
    • a strange or unexplained moment
    • a work trip or job site story
    • a first day, last day, or worst day
    • something that changed you

    The stranger, wilder, or more unbelievable, the better.

    The only thing that matters is that it really happened.

    • You will generalize workplaces and individuals in negative stories unless naming them is approved in advance

    • You will not include self-promotion, business plugs, links or calls to action in your story
