The heart of the Paper Planes Ministries Honor Code is to provide a standard that reflects the
nature and weight of what God has entrusted to us, as well as an understanding that with
additional leadership comes additional responsibility and accountability.

As Christians, the way we present ourselves to others is of vital importance to the way others
perceive Jesus. Our conduct should never be an embarrassment to Jesus, but should exemplify
the best qualities of a mature believer.

By providing an example in speech and action, we encourage others to grow in Jesus and
become servant-leaders themselves. This is a way of life measured by the heart and commitment
of each Leader on the Paper Planes Ministries team. It’s never intended to be an imposition or
restriction, but an essential part of our leadership development and growth.

Guidelines that describe several specific areas of the Honor Code are outlined in the preceding
page to provide parameters for our actions as leaders. This list of parameters isn’t exhaustive
and can’t cover every situation that a leader encounters. In those situations, we ask that you
make decisions that are guided by biblical principles and best reflect your position as a member
of the Paper Planes Ministries Leadership Team.

Agreeing to the terms & conditions indicates that you understand the heart of the Honor Code. It also
expresses your commitment, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to follow the parameters outlined
in the Honor Code, as well as live your life above reproach as a leader (1 Timothy 3:2). Finally,
it also indicates you commit to fall under the spiritual authority and direction of the Paper Planes
Ministries staff if situations arise that fall outside of the parameters of the Honor Code.
