WE NEED YOUR HELP, PLEASE! | Tha sinn feumach air ur taic!
  • The Easter Fèis is run solely by community volunteers. We rely on parents / carers to help us to ensure the week goes well for all the participants.

We cannot deliver the Easter Fèis without your support.

It's really easy to help, is very rewarding and helps keep the experience affordable ...

Volunteers can help at times that suit them with straightforward tasks such as: assisting with registration; helping participants find their way about; setting up for lunch; running the tuck shop and making sure everyone has a fun and safe time.

Please agree to provide some time during the week to assist us.

    Thank you!

"I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I agreed to volunteer but it was so much fun, easy to help out and lovely to meet other parents"

In line with our Child Protection Policy, we ask that all parents / carers either have, or agree to Fèis Latharna applying for, a Protecting Vulnerable Groups certificate on your behalf. There is no cost to yourself, or requirement for you to do anything apart from providing basic details; all the work is carried out by our parent organisation Fèisean nan Gàidheal.

  • Important information for selecting choices.

    • Each day follows the same programme of 4 sessions. So the classes you have on the first day will be the same classses for the following 3 days.
    • Each participant chooses options to cover the 4 sessions. So that could mean 4 single session choices: first, second, third, fourth. Or two half-day options (Primary 6 and upwards ages only). Or one half day and two further choices.
    • If you have chosen a half day morning you will not be asked to make a choice for the First and Second sessions.
    • If you have chosen a half day afternoon you will not be asked to make a choice for the Third and Fourth sessions.
    • It is possible to select both a half day in the morning and in the afternoon but due to popularity we ask that these are different choices for each.
    • Some classes have specific age / ability criteria so please take note of these. But there are plenty of options for beginners, or open-to-all classes, for those wanting to try out new things!
    • Each class has limited numbers so it is first come, first served.
    • Late switches may be possible but we cannot guarantee to accommodate every individual choice.
    • Everyone must select a reserve choice which will NOT include any of the half day options.
  • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
