A £50 booking/ damages deposit. Terms and Conditions for Feathers & Forts Teepee Hire Business

These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between Feathers & Forts and the customer for the hire of teepees and associated equipment for children's events. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. A refundable deposit of [£50] is required to secure your booking.

1.2. The full balance must be paid no later than 24hrs prior to the event date.

1.3. Payment can be made via [bank transfer, PayPal, cash].

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1 If you cancel your booking more than [14] days before the event, you will receive your deposit within 1 – 3 working days.

2.2 Cancellations within 14 days of the event will result in the loss of the deposit. Any other payments will be refunded.

2.3 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances; we will provide a full refund of all monies paid.

2.4 In the unfortunate event of unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date shall be agreed between Feathers & Forts and the client.

3. Delivery, Setup, and Collection

3.1 We will deliver, set up, and collect the teepees and equipment at the agreed location and times.

3.2 You must ensure that there is sufficient space and access for the setup of the teepees.

3.3 Any delays caused by lack of access or space may incur additional charges.

3.4 You must ensure that someone over the age of 18 is present at the time of delivery and collection.

3.5 Pets to always remain under control and out of the set-up area.

4. Use of Equipment

4.1 The equipment is for indoor use only.

4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that the equipment is used safely and appropriately at all times.

4.3 No food, drinks, or sharp objects are allowed inside the teepee

4.4 Smoking, pets, and open flames are strictly prohibited near the equipment.

4.5 You must not attempt to move or dismantle the equipment once it has been set up.

5. Damage, Loss, and Cleaning

5.1. You are responsible for the care of the equipment during the hire period.

5.2. Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges, which will be deducted from your security deposit or invoiced separately.

5.3. A refundable security deposit of [£50] is required and will be returned within [1-3] days of collection, provided the equipment is returned in its original condition.

6. Liability

6.1. We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the hire period.

6.2. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and supervision of all children using the equipment.

6.3. We are not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather or access issues.

6.4. We reserve the right to amend any services that is deemed reasonably necessary without notice to the hirer. If the required service is less than originally requested, then refunds will be made to the hirer.

6.5. There is no intention to infringe on any copyright laws. All themes are only inspired by popular trends.

6.6. No information included within this booking form will be disclosed to any third party.

7. Health and Safety

7.1. All equipment is cleaned and sanitised before and after each hire.

7.2. You must inform us of any allergies or special requirements at the time of booking.

7.3. You must ensure that the equipment is not used by anyone who is unwell or has a contagious illness.

7.4. Children under the age of 3 and below are not permitted the use of these teepees set ups.

8. Photography and Marketing

8.1. We may take photographs of the setup for marketing purposes. If you do not wish for photographs to be taken or used, please inform us in writing before the event.

8.2. If any pictures are shared with Feathers & Forts on any platform, we have the right to use the images for promotion.

9. Force Majeure

9.1. We shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfil our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [England], and any disputes will be

subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

11. Agreement

11.1 By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and

Conditions.

Following collection of all hired items, we aim to check for damages and serviceability within 24 hrs and return your depoist within 48hrs of collection date. Any items damaged or not returned will be discussed before deposit is released.

Additional invoice will be sent to cover any further fees for loss or damage.
