  • Note: It is required that businesses and organizations have a City of Seattle business license in order to have retail sales at this event. This is not the same as a federal or state UBI number.

    If you do not have a City of Seattle business license yet, please apply for one and submit the information to Michelle@catalystpresents.com no later than April 15, 2026.

    Any business or organization registered and that does not provide their license number by April 15, 2026 will not be permitted to set their booth at this event.

  • The vendor booth fee for the festival is $40. This is the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department fee of $30, plus a $10 administrative fee.

    For retail booths, the department requires we collect 10% of gross receipts. These fees will be collected in person by festival staff at the conculsion of the festival. Fees to be paid in cash, by Zelle or by check.

    NOTABLE INFORMATION:

    • FOOTPRINT: Vendor tents must not exceed 10'x10' and should be weighted for public safety and total footprint must not exceed 12'x12'
    • EQUIPMENT: Vendors are responsible for bringing all materials needed for their own success including tent, tables, chairs, etc.
    • POWER/WATER SERVICE: Power and/or water are not available in the park. If you need these items please be prepared to bring a generator or other power source. If water is needed, in addition to bringing your own water, you must also haul out any gray water created. 
    • INSURANCE: Vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club and Catalyst Presents, LLC as additional insured and certificate holders no later than May 30, 2026
    • CITY BUSINESS LICENSE: All exhibitors are required to have a City of Seattle business license no later than May 30, 2026.
    • FOOD PERMITS: Food trucks and food booths/vendors must hold a permit from Public Health - Seattle & King County. We do not submit a blanket food permit for our shows, so please ensure you work with the King County Public Health Department to file for your permit based on the type of food handling and preparation you'll be doing. 
    • FOOD PACKAGING: Seattle's recycling, composting, and food packaging law requires food service businesses - including food and beverage vendors at events - to use recyclable and compostable service ware. 
    • FIRE PERMITS: A permit from Seattle Fire Department is required for cooking activities that utilize LPG (propane) and/or open flame (charcoal, wood, etc.). Additionally - fire extinguishers are required by the City of Seattle for any booth conducting cooking operations. Fire extinguishers must be affixed with a tag that indicates they have been serviced within the past 12 months. Exception: New fire extinguishers (those purchased within the past 12 months) may pass inspection by having the receipt showing the date of purchase taped or otherwise attached to the fire extinguisher.
