I am a disabled older woman who requires help with entering repeating weekly appointments in to my google calendar.
This position also involves scheduling emails requesting bus rides bookings for me. The bus agency is a bus designed to transport people with disabilities. The emails must be scheduled to go out EXACTLY a certain number of days before each of my appointments, at a very exact time on that day.
There are a number of steps involved, including follow up for every email that is scheduled.
For example, if I have an appointment at 9 am ET on February 20th, an email must be set up well in advance (at least a month in advance preferably) that is scheduled to go out exactly 14 days before my appointment, at 12 am ET. So for my February 20th appointment, an email must be scheduled to go out on February 6th at exactly 12 am ET.
Once the email is scheduled, a calendar entry must be made with the details about the requested bus booking.
Then once the bus agency replies, you must adjust that calendar entry to the timings they give you. This will ensure I do not miss any of my bus rides.
I will explain why accuracy is so important - if you mistakenly schedule an email to go out on the wrong day, I may end up having no transportation to my appointment, and I will most likely miss my appointment that day.
This is not an easy system to understand, so you must have both a skill for accuracy and a skill for solving problems as they arise (and there is always some problems in a system like this).
The reason I am paying you for each email you schedule and follow up on is because at first, you will be very slow. It is to be expected, because you are learning, and I insist you double, even triple check everything to make sure it is accurate. At first, this will take you a long time, but as you do this job longer and longer, you will get faster and you could easily finish all your work for the week in one hour, possibly even 30 minutes.
However, if you make a mistake, I can not pay you for that task. This is not to be mean, it is to ensure you are more BUS TRANSPORTATION careful after making a mistake. Plus, as I mentioned, it is so important because if mistakes are made, I suffer and most likely will not be able to attend my appointments - which may end up costing me a lot of money if I do not show up, plus I will be stuck at home, unable to enjoy my scheduled appointments.
I trust you understand by the number of times I have stressed you need to be accurate, that it is very important to me.
Please do not apply for this position if you can not ensure accuracy.
