    The Prolon 2-Day Technical Training equips participants with the advanced knowledge and
    practical skills to expertly install, configure, and support or service Prolon Controls systems. This hands-on training format will include the use of Prolon Controls custom training boards and require students to interface, wire, and configure live controllers. Laptops are required for class.


    Instructor:
    Certified Prolon Controls Trainer
    Class Size:
    Limited to 6–10 participants for an engaging experience.
    Equipment Provided:
    Prolon Training Kit. One kit per two participants.
    Who Should Attend:
    Mechanical/HVAC Contractors: Deliver advanced control solutions to your clients.
    Service Technicians: Gain practical expertise configuring and troubleshooting Prolon systems.
    Building Operators: Improve your ability to manage and support installed systems.
    Key Learning Areas:
    Applications, system design, and component selection.
    Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networked systems.
    Project management using Prolon Focus software and Cloud service.
    Hands-On Training:
    Participants will work in groups of 2 using Prolon training kits to complete guided exercises including:
    Constructing Prolon networks and system segmentation.
    Implementing proper shielded wiring and termination techniques.
    Setting Master/Follower relationships and controller configurations.

    Computer Requirements 
    Laptop with full administrator rights (required for driver installation) 
    If students don't have admin access to their laptop, the company's IT staff must be on standby and immediately available to assist between 10:00 and 12:00 on Day 1. 
    Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 
    At least one USB-A port (external adapter acceptable) 

    Not Accepted / Discouraged: 
    Windows versions earlier than Windows 7 
    Chromebooks 
    Tablets (Android or iPad) as a primary device 
    Apple Mac computers are strongly discouraged 

    Note: 
    The training is taught on PC. Instructors cannot support macOS software or driver issues during class. 
    Tablets may be used only for the mobile application portion of the training. 

    Software 
    The latest version of Prolon Focus software must be installed and tested before arrival.
