Another Chance of Atlanta, Inc. is an organization committed to preventing homelessness and supporting housing stability across metro Atlanta, including Clayton County, Georgia. Through our rental assistance and housing stability programs, we are focused on helping families and individuals who are facing financial hardship and at risk of losing their homes.

Rental assistance is granted only when funding is available, and all support is provided based on eligibility criteria and program capacity. Applicants must provide documentation such as identification, proof of income, and evidence of tenancy.

At times when the program is fully funded, the agency pauses new applications until additional funding becomes available. When this happens, the official rental assistance page is updated with next steps and guidance for local residents.

I understand that to qualify for rental assistance, my household income must be at or below 30% of HUD’s Area Median Income (AMI) for my area. This income level is classified by HUD as “Extremely Low-Income.”*

Rental assistance will only be approved if the rent amount listed on the signed lease agreement is at or below HUD’s Fair Market Rent (FMR) for the applicable zip code. If the rent exceeds the FMR limit, rental assistance cannot be approved or processed.*
