The Canadian Burn Conference is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary event intended for all healthcare professionals involved in the care of thermally injured patients (inclusive of all aspects of healthcare: physicians and surgeons, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, dieticians, respiratory therapists, social workers, researchers, and other health professionals) from across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded and dedicated professionals from across Canada.The presentations are clinically orientated and chosen for their broad appeal and relevance to everyday clinical practice. The speakers include national and international experts.The organizing committee welcomes abstracts on any aspect of burn care (from prevention to rehabilitation and basic science to clinical care). All are welcome to submit their work.Abstracts will be assessed for scientific validity and clinical relevance. Submissions will undergo anonymous peer review, and all selected abstracts will be presented in brief oral presentations in the research session. The Top abstracts will have the opportunity to provide a podium presentation at the plenary session during the conference.
