  • Permission will be granted to the above-named Gardener to have a plot of land for no more than 3 years (however, registration is required every year, and you will be assigned a different plot number every year).

    1. This permit allows me to use one garden plot each year for three consecutive years. Plots are assigned annually through a lottery system and may not be transferred to another person.
    2. I understand that I am registering for a community garden plot and that I am responsible for maintaining it. If my plot is not properly maintained, I will be contacted and asked to address the issue. If no action is taken within one week of being contacted, and I do not communicate with garden staff, the plot may be reassigned to someone on the waiting list.
    3. This permit is valid from the beginning to the end of the growing season for three consecutive years. The plot number will change each year through the lottery system. All personal items must be removed from the plot before the end of each season.
    4. My plot will be planted during the first week of the garden opening and will remain planted throughout the summer season.
    5. If I am unable to continue gardening, have difficulty visiting the garden regularly, or require assistance, I will notify the garden staff, who will provide support to the extent possible.
    6. This is a chemical‑free garden. I will use only organic fertilizers and organic insecticides when necessary.
    7. I agree to volunteer my time to assist with general maintenance and to help keep the garden site clean.
    8. I will dispose of weeds and plant materials appropriately and will keep my plot and surrounding paths free of trash and litter.
    9. I agree to participate in end‑of‑season cleanup activities, including attending scheduled garden cleanup days or completing assigned cleanup tasks.
    10. I will harvest only from my own plot unless I have received permission from another gardener to harvest from theirs.
    11. This agreement is valid for one growing season and must be renewed the following spring.
  • Failure to meet any of the above conditions will result in the assigned plot being withdrawn from the gardener and reassigned to a new gardener on the waiting list. I understand and accept the above terms and conditions. *
