Food Handler’s Certificate Class
Required for Volunteering in the Roadhaven Kitchen
Residents who would like to volunteer in the Roadhaven Kitchen for events are required to have a valid Food Handler’s Certificate. This class will guide you step-by-step through the process and allow you to leave with your certificate in hand.
During the class, participants will:
Complete the Food Handler training online
Apply for the official Food Handler’s Certificate
Print their certificate before leaving
✅ Free class – open to all Roadhaven residents
💳 Participants must bring a credit card to pay the certificate fee (required by the issuing agency)
🖨️ Certificates will be printed during class

Time: 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Location: Computer Lab in the Apache Building
This class is designed to be easy to follow, with assistance available throughout. No prior experience is needed.
