2026 Trout Lake Entry Form
  • Thank you for pre-registering for the Trout Lake Ride June 6th 2026

EDRA offers distance rides of various mileage, relays, intro rides, ride-and-ties, as well as some USEF recognized distance competitions for those interested and eligible. As you complete this application, you will see the distances and ride types this ride is offering. Please make sure your equine meets our age requirements, depending upon the distance you choose, and read our late fee and refund policies.

If you prefer to pay by check, send an e-mail to the ride manager and you will receive a fillable form to snail mail back, along with your check.  All snail mailed entry registrations must be postmarked no later than May 31st.

Thanks to EDRA's Mary & Anna Memorial Youth Fund and this Ride Manager's matching discount, participants under age 18 entering distance rides, ride free!

EDRA'S LATE FEE POLICY: Participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register and pay in advance for EDRA events. If a participant does not pre-register and pay their entry within one week of the event, the participant will incur an additional $20 late fee, to be paid by cash or check during their on-site registration or check-in.

EDRA'S REFUND POLICIES:  Because completion awards, veterinarian services, sanitary toilet facilities, and other expenses have been incurred months in advance of the event, participants may cancel up to 48-hours before the ride to receive a refund for all but $20 of the amount paid. Refunds are not offered for cancellations with less than 48-hours’ notice. The only exception is that a refund for all but $20 may be offered to participants who arrive at ride camp with their equine, but are unable to start the ride due to an unanticipated issue. (For example, the equine or rider are injured or become ill between vet-in and the ride start.)

Additionally, in the event of a situation beyond the ride manager's control (e.g., snow, wildfire, government shutdown) that prevents the ride from taking place, a ride may be cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice. In these unique situations, the ride managr may determine a refund policy that allows them to recoup already incurred and non-refundable costs (e.g., land manager permit fees, veterinarian services, ride awards, and/or sanitary facility services).

REGISTRATION:  Please complete all fields that are applicable to you, or to your minor child (under age 18 as of January 1) and the equine being ridden.

And please use NA if a field does not apply.

In the event the owner is not present at the ride, the participant is responsible for payment of any veterinarians expenses affiliated with treatment(s). If you are "catch riding" someone else's horse, make sure you and the owner have a clear understanding of what actions are expected to be taken in the event the horse requires veterinarian intervention and who will be responsible for payment. Parents of minors should also designate an adult who will be in attendance at the event to make these often-difficult decisions, should the parent be unreachable.
  • LIABILITY RELEASES

    EDRA & PNER LIABILITY RELEASES
  • This release covers events offered in this ride entry registration, including distance rides and relays endorsed by Equine Distance Riding Association (hereafter called EDRA) which may be recognized by Pacific Northwest Endurance Riders, Inc. (hereafter called PNER), and any introductory ride offered by the ride manager.  Hereafter these events are called "this distance ride."

For and in consideration of participating in this distance ride, I understand and agree that: Distance riding is a hazardous activity. Distance riding may and likely will involve being in remote areas for long periods of time. There may be natural and/or man-made hazards in the area where the ride is located which ride management cannot anticipate, identify, modify, or eliminate. Equines are capable of being excitable, difficult to control, and/or unpredictable. Accidents can happen to anyone at any time–whether it is my equine causing injury to another equine or person or whether it is another participant’s equine causing injury to me or my equine. Accidents can also happen to anyone who attends a distance riding event as a spectator or otherwise. There is often NO ambulance or medical help present nor readily available.

I understand and agree that I assume full responsibility for my safety and my equine’s safety. To the best of my ability, I will be vigilant in preventing injury to other persons or equines.

In exchange for the privilege of participating in this distance ride, I, my heirs, executors, and administrators will hold harmless and blameless EDRA and PNER, and all officers and directors thereof, all members of the ride management and ride personnel, volunteers and all property owners/tenants upon whose land this distance ride is held from all liability for any injury or loss to myself or my horse which occurs due to my participation, or anyone who accompanies me to EDRA events.

I am fully aware of all ride rules and agree to abide by those rules set down by ride management and EDRA. I fully understand the consequences of not following ride rules.

This release is governed by the laws of the state of Washington and is intended to be interpreted as broadly as possible. I agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any legal action against EDRA, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers or agents shall be in the Superior Court of the State of Washington in the county where the EDRA office is located or in any other county as agreed.

If any part of this agreement is determined to be unenforceable, all other parts shall remain in effect.

I have read and fully understand the above liability release.

  • For Minor's Parents or Legal Guardians: I am the parent or legal guardian of the above named minor.

This release covers events offered in this ride entry registration, including distance rides and relays endorsed by Equine Distance Riding Association (hereafter called EDRA) which may be recognized by Pacific Northwest Endurance Riders, Inc. (hereafter called PNER), and any introductory ride offered by the ride manager. Hereafter these events are called "this distance ride."

I fully agree to the above release, and sign it on behalf of my child.

Additionally, under EDRA rules, minors are required to be accompanied by an adult sponsor at all times during the event. Per the EDRA Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy, a minor will be accompanied by two adult sponsors, SafeSport trained. I understand, however, that due to the nature of the sport and the small number of participants at any given event, it may be impossible to find two SafeSport trained sponsors who are willing to volunteer to accompany said minor and I am indicating what I will allow, relative to adult sponsorship during the event:
