Important Information
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO BY April 6, 2026 and must include the following:
- Application signed and dated
- Color Photograph (head and shoulders only, please)
- Two letters of recommendation
Please note:
- NJSA Junior Board of Directors candidate interviews will be conducted virtually. Interviews will begin the week of April 20, 2026.
- The selection committee reserves the right to decline any candidate to continue past the interview process.
- The selection committee will appoint Directors based on the application and interview process.
- All candidates that make it through the interview process are required to attend the National Junior Summer Spectacular from Saturday, June 27 through Friday, July 3 and assist with the event.
- The 2025-2026 NJSA Junior Board of Directors will be announced at the National Junior Summer Spectacular Awards Ceremony on Thursday, July 2. All junior board members will be required to attend the Junior Board Retreat and National Youth Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, IN July 15-17, 2026.
- Other events dates of note for all candidates who are appointed to the Junior Board of Directors
  - NYLC/ JB Retreat July 12-17, 2026 (Not the entire week most likely Wed-Friday)
  - Southwest Regional, Oklahoma City, OK September 16-20, 2026
  - Eastern Regional, Hamburg, NY October 1-3,2026
  - Western Regional Paso Robles, CA December 3-6, 2026
  - The Exposition, Des Moines, IA May 30- June 4, 2027 or June 5-11, 2027
  - National Junior Summer Spectacular, Indianapolis, IN June 27-July 2, 2027
