The team policy case list is optional for all team policy debate competitors. Not all team policy teams will be on the case list.
The case list will close at midnight Central on the same date as when tournament registration closes.
Case List Rules
- You must be registered for this tournament to be added to this case list. Any team not registered for this tournament will be denied access to the case list.
- You may have a maximum of two cases and one or both cases must be run at this tournament.
- If you are on the case list, you are prohibited from running cases outside the ones listed on the case list for this tournament.
- You must be honest about your case. This means no "secret weapon" cases, and no extra cases thrown in as red herrings to throw off other case list participants.
- You may update your case by resubmitting this form until tournament registration closes. Once tournament registration closes, you may not update your case on the case list.
- You are not on the case list until an ASDA staff member approves your case name and details.
- If needed, you may request clarification on a case name or case details.
- You must respond when asked for clarifications on your case. You are not required to share your 1AC, but you should share enough information so that another team may effectively research your case.
- Do not share the contents of the case list or the link to the case list with anyone who is not on the case list. If they would like to see the cases, they can request access.
- The case list operates on the honor system; however, any rule violations may be reported to info@americanspeech.org.
- Case list rule violations may result in the team's removal from all future case lists.
- It is not the responsibility of individual competitors to enforce the rules of the case list. Attempts to do so may result in immediate removal from the case list.
