  • Spiritual Disciplines: We will explore how prayer, Bible study, and other personal disciplines help us grow in our relationships with God and our capacity to worship.*
  • (9-12th grade only) Songwriting for Worship: The songs we sing in worship help us praise God and deepen our relationship with Him. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to write songs for your church, focusing on engaging lyrics, accessible music, and sound theology.
  • Public Speaking: 1 Peter 3:15 tells us to always be ready to explain our hope as believers, so this workshop will focus on developing our public speaking skills. We will practice daily during camp week and serve as MCs for the Showcase on Friday night.*
  • Praise & Worship Vocalists: Being able to sing is only a small part of being a vocalist leading worship. We will explore both the spiritual qualities and practical skills of vocally leading a congregation to worship in Spirit and in Truth.*
  • Praise & Worship Vocalists: If you are interested in this workshop, check all that apply:
  • (9-12th graders) Praise & Worship Band: Helps to lead praise & worship songs during camp week. • If you are interested in the Photography workshop:
  • Guitars for Worship: We will explore how the acoustic, electric, and bass guitars can be used to help lead singing in worship services. Campers should be able to bring their own instrument daily, with the goal of playing for camp later in the week, and then playing for their home churches.*
  • Drama: "Do you love storytelling and acting? In this drama workshop we will practice drama games, prepare for Friday night's program, and hone our acting skills to better share the love of Christ." (If you aren't interested in drama, skip the two questions after this one.)*

  • Drama: Which one would you prefer?
  • Dowel Rod/Stick Drama: In this workshop we will tell a story using two sticks, body movement, and no speaking or singing.*
