2026 Marshall Baseball Camp Registration Waiver & Release:
No Medical Insurance Notice - Acknowledgment of Non-Coverage: I understand and acknowledge that Fairfax County Public Schools and George C Marshall do not provide any medical, dental, or accident insurance for students participating in this youth sports camp/league. Any medical expenses incurred as a result of participation in the camp/league, including but not limited to emergency transport, physician fees, or hospitalization, are the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian. It is strongly recommended that participants be covered by their own personal or family health insurance policy before participating.
Assumption of Risk & Physical Fitness Statement: I understand that the Marshall Baseball camp is an intensive athletic experience involving strenuous physical activity, including [e.g., high-speed drills, physical contact, and outdoor exertion]. I voluntarily assume all risks inherent in the sport, including the risk of injury or aggravation of pre-existing conditions. By signing below, I certify that my child has been evaluated by a licensed physician within the last 14 months and has been cleared as physically fit to participate in a high-intensity sports camp. I further acknowledge that the school division is relying on this representation of fitness.
Medical Consent: I certify the participant is physically fit. I authorize camp staff to seek emergency medical care at my expense.
Photo Consent: I also grant permission for the camp to use photos/videos of the participant for promotional purposes.
Refund Policy:
14+ Days Before Camp: Full refund (less a $10 fee) or a free transfer.
Within 13 Days: No refunds or transfers, unless for a medical emergency verified by a doctor’s note submitted before camp starts.
Once Camp Begins: No refunds for missed days (vacation, illness, etc.). Pro-rated refunds are only considered for medical withdrawals with a doctor's note provided within 24 hours.
Deadline: No refund requests will be accepted after the camp session ends
Personal Items:
Campers are responsible for their own belongings. All items must be clearly labeled with the camper’s name. GCM Boosters are not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
