Date & Time: Sunday 26th April 2026, 3.30pm - 5.30pm with rehearsals from 10.30am until 3.00pm
Rehearsals: Sunday 19th April, optional online rehearsal between 10am and 11am for playtogether pieces only. Concert director Kate Conway will also be available during this zoom rehearsal to answer any questions you may have.
Sunday 26th April, mandatory rehearsals from 10am at Shoreditch Town Hall. Exact timings coming soon, please keep the whole day free.
Participation Fee & Tickets: £25 per playing child which includes one adult ticket. If you have more than two playing children in the concert you will need two participation tickets, for which you will receive two audience tickets, and any extra children you have who are performing will play for free.
Low-income tickets: If you are a low-income family earning less than £35,000 and bringing one child, or earning less than £60,000 and bringing two children, you can reduce the participation fee to £12.50 per child.
Parent helpers: If you would like to be a parent helper you will need to apply for a volunteer DBS certificate but will not need to buy a ticket or pay a participation fee for your child.
Playtogether participants: Children joining us just for the playtogether will need an £8 ticket to the concert.
You will not be charged a participation fee for playtogether only performers.
Tickets for playtogether only children and their families are not yet available.

Repertoire:
Playtogethers: This concert will have a short playtogether at the start of each half for all instruments. Performers who have not yet reached the end of book 1 will be in the first playtogether only. If your violin-playing child has only learnt any of the pieces up to Minuet 2 please register them for the playtogether only. There will be activities for them to do in all the pieces they haven't yet learnt.

Please note Minuet 3 will be played as printed in book 3, so the first time through VG1 will play it with repeats, then they will wait while VG2 plays the Minor Minuet, then they will play Minuet 3 again with no repeats as a da capo.
