Exhibit Guidelines

1. Entries must be delivered to West Regional Library Atrium (upstairs) on Wednesday April 1, 2026 between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and must remain up until April 30, 2026. Artwork must be picked up on Thursday, April 30, 2026 between 4:00-6:00 p.m.
2. Artwork must be submitted by the original artist. Artists must be 18 years of age or older to submit artwork. The artwork must be the artist’s original creation. No computer generated, AI aided, electronic art, nor artwork created as part of a workshop will be accepted.
3.Two-dimensional artwork must be properly framed and securely wired for hanging, complete with mounting hardware and appropriate matting or gallery wrap. Absolutely no saw tooth hangers or metal ring hangers will be accepted. Artists submitting three-dimensional artwork may be asked to provide appropriate pedestals if the venue is unable to do so.
4.Each entry should have an ID label attached to the back prior to delivery. Labels are available on the Mobile Art Association forms and payment page (http://mobileartassociation.org/forms-paypal.html), and will be sent to your provided email upon submission of this form. Print, complete, trim, and adhere to the back of each artwork.
5. MAA and the host venue reserve the right to refuse any work for public display that is deemed obscene, offensive, unsafe, or disregards these rules. MAA will handle your artwork with the utmost care during preparation, transport and exhibit, however, the organization and individuals providing this service may not be held liable for damages. A hold harmless form is required by West Regional Library to be dropped off with your artwork. The form will be available on our website and will be emailed to you upon submission of this form. Please print it along with your artwork labels to BRING TO DROP OFF.
ENTRY FEE

Please submit payment at the payment link provided on this form. The member fee is $25 for one entry, $30 for two. Non-members are not qualified for entry. ***BE SURE TO PRESS THE SUBMIT BUTTON WHEN YOU ARE DONE!*** You will receive a response via email indicating your submission has been received.

Hold Harmless Agreement

I understand that in offering my works of art to be displayed at the West Regional Branch of the Mobile Public Library, I hold harmless the Mobile Public Library, its library board, administration, and employees from any claim including but not limited to injury to person, damage to art work or other property, loss by fire, theft, or any other cause, nor will I be a party to any lawsuit related to the display of my artwork at Mobile Public Library. I understand that the Mobile Public Library may use electronic versions of my artwork, and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Library and its respective agents and employees against any damages, claims, costs, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to its use of electronic versions of my artwork, including, but not limited to any such damages, claims, costs, or liabilities arising out of or related to claims by third parties that the electronic versions of your artwork infringe upon the patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual or creative property rights of others. This is a legal and binding hold harmless agreement.
